Cookie Policy

Effective date: 5 October 2026

This page explains the cookies used on the Lowen Media website, what each one does, and how you can control them.

01

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. They let the site remember things between pages and visits, such as whether you are signed in. Some sites also use them to understand how people use the site.

02

Essential cookies

These make the client area and private galleries work. They are only set when you use those features, and the site cannot work properly without them.

authjs.session-token

Keeps you signed in to your client area.

Up to 30 days

authjs.csrf-token, authjs.callback-url

Protect the sign-in form and return you to the right page afterwards.

Until you close your browser

gallery_access_…

Remembers that you have entered the password for a private gallery, so you are not asked again on every visit.

1 year

gallery_principal_…

Recognises the person a gallery was made for, so they can choose photos and place orders.

1 year

03

Analytics cookies

These help us see how many people visit and which pages they read, so we can keep improving the site. They are not used for advertising, and they are only set if you choose Accept on the cookie banner. If you choose Reject, or make no choice, none of them are set.

_ga, _ga_…

Set by Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people find useful. The information is aggregated and does not identify you by name.

Up to 2 years

lm_vid

Our own anonymous visitor ID. It counts page views and links chat messages to the same visit.

30 days

04

Browser storage

Alongside cookies, the site saves a few things in your browser’s local storage: your conversation with the website chat, your favourites and selections in a gallery, and your answer to the cookie banner, so they are still there when you come back. This stays on your device and is never used for tracking.

05

Third-party services

When you pay for a booking or an order, you are taken to a secure checkout page run by Stripe. Stripe sets its own cookies there to process the payment and prevent fraud. You can read about them in Stripe’s cookie policy.

06

Managing cookies

You can change your mind about analytics cookies at any time. Choosing Reject removes any analytics cookies already set.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop you signing in or opening private galleries, but the rest of the site will still work.

To stop Google Analytics measuring your visits on every website, not just this one, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
