A hybrid session gives you the best of both worlds. While I photograph the key moments of your session, I also capture cinematic footage that tells the full story. The movement, the sound, the atmosphere that stills alone can't convey.
This isn't two separate shoots crammed together. I work seamlessly between camera and film, so there's no awkward switching or double-up on posing. It feels like one natural, flowing experience.
You'll receive a full gallery of edited photographs alongside a short cinematic highlight film. Perfect for sharing, reliving, and keeping forever.

How it works.
What exactly is a Photo & Film session?
It's stills and a short cinematic film made together, in one sitting. You get the photographs you'd expect, plus a little moving footage (the sound of the sea, a laugh, the way the light moves) that a still frame can't quite hold.
What do I actually receive at the end?
A private gallery of edited stills and a short, gently-edited film. We'll talk through length and feel beforehand so it fits what you have in mind, whether that's a family keepsake or something for a business to use.
Who is this kind of session best for?
Families who want movement and sound alongside their photographs, couples marking a milestone, and small Cornish businesses who want a warmer way to introduce themselves than a flat product shot. If there's a story with a bit of motion in it, this suits.
Where can we film?
Across Cornwall: your home, a meaningful spot along the coast, or your business premises. I'll suggest locations that film well if you'd like a steer, and we'll work around the light and the time of day.
Can I use the film online and on social media?
Yes. The film is delivered ready to share, and for businesses I can provide formats that suit your website and social channels. Just tell me where it's heading and I'll cut it to fit.
How far ahead should I book?
Film takes a little more planning than a straight portrait session, and I keep a limited calendar, so the more notice the better. Do get in touch with your rough timing and I'll let you know what's possible.
